Programs

  • We work to create access to already permitted technologies that improve water systems.

  • We provide information and/or technical tools that help people determine what technology is appropriate at their scale. By connecting practitioners with each other and with regulators to have meaningful conversations about how systems are functioning.

  • We work to remove legal barriers to sustainable building and development practices

    • Identifying and prioritizing code hurdles with other organizations to make sure we are focused on the right goals.

    • Developing Solution Pathways. This can mean being part of code writing, providing experts for code committees, providing hands on education and experiences for regulators and inspectors or developing new databases and tools.

    • Synthesize and share what we’ve learned with others

  • Developing model codes and stewarding them through adoption

  • We participate in code writing committees and we encourage qualified people with relevant expertise to join these committees.  Sometimes it’s not model codes, but working with different jurisdictions to create water goals.
